PlanMaster for Wastewater Master Planning

Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District needed a system to communicate the impact of changes in wastewater management to stakeholders in a relevant manner. Facet consultants worked with the County and Carollo Engineers to create the Wastewater Master Planning System. The system integrates diverse models and datasets into a framework to evaluate realistic scenarios.

The Facet team built a system that used existing models and data from the client and the client's stakeholders. We created a model to translate impacts into meaningful results for different stakeholder interests. Planners and engineers can now gain a better understanding of what the future might look like with different choices. As a result, planners and engineers can:
   - Build realistic scenarios and explore them in depth.
   - Easily examine trade-offs between different structural and non-structural options.
   - Project the impacts of different options and effectively communicate them.
   - Analyze the financial implications on the County and its residents.
