Rick is a Director of Financial Planning at Facet and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) with over seven years of experience. A former teacher, he is also an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®). Rick is passionate about helping clients achieve what they want most out of their financial lives and believes great advice can accelerate their path to financial independence. Outside of work you can find Rick coaching his boys (Baron, Klaus, and Wolfgang), watching the Buffalo Bills with his wife Sharon, or taking his dogs Hildy (an Olde English Bulldogge) and Napoleon (a Dogue de Bordeaux) for a walk on the local trails.

Our first family photo with the whole gang. Everybody’s personality shines through here and I am undoubtedly the least photogenic one in the bunch.

Covid kept the boys out of school temporarily, but we had fun with science experiments, nature walks, and I even went back to my roots as a history teacher and we learned about World War II. Never was there a better $5 investment than a bucket of army men.

It looks like a shoe lace, but that’s actually drool. Napoleon anxiously awaiting his nemesis the mailman with a tennis ball in his mouth.

Best buddies looking out over the ball field that backs up to our yard; their whole lives ahead of them.

Who inspires you?

My dad. His work ethic to this day inspires me to always go the extra mile.

What's your favorite movie?

The Princess Bride.

If you could visit anywhere in the world you've never been, where would you go?

Germany.
