Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and their twins. His hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, and reading. Matt is a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers and the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

What's your secret talent that no one knows about?

I can always win something in a crane game, which is perfect since my wife teaches elementary school and has plenty of prizes to pass out.

What's the craziest thing you've ever done?

I spent a few months hiking the Appalachian Trail. It was a great experience that taught me how to break up large goals into smaller ones and made me appreciate the little things in life.
