What's the last book you read?

Blood Moon: An American Epic of War and Splendor in the Cherokee Nation

What are you passionate about?

Bluegrass. I grew up playing a variety of stringed instruments and was torn between pursuing a career in music or attending business school. America’s rich history of folk music is something I’m very fond of studying and learning more about. I was fortunate to attend business school in a town that provided a bounty of live music.

Where's your favorite place in the world?

Washington Park – International Rose Test Garden. This park is right next to my parents home, it was opened in 1967 and I think it’s the coolest thing ever. People come from all over the world to grow rose’s in this 12acre plot of land. It feels like you’re walking through a living museum, the smells bring tears to my eyes just thinking about it! June is the best time to visit!

What is your favorite family tradition?

My family and I have a weekly zoom call every Tuesday at 6:00pm CST. This came about during Covid-19 when my eldest brother had his first child. The family wanted to watch my niece grow up but it was hard to find time to visit. This tradition has really brought us closer and left me as a more grateful family member
