Shawn has 20 years of experience as a CFP, Financial Planner/Advisor and has helped hundreds of couples and individuals plan for and attain their financial goals. Before his career in financial services, he was a Professor of Education and English, helping hundreds of college students with their academic and career goals. Through both of his education and financial careers, Shawn has been able to do what he’s most passionate about: coaching, teaching, advising and leading others to achieve both personal and financial victories. Currently, Shawn lives in the greater Chicago area with his amazing. talented wife and his two amazing, talented sons. Outside of Facet, Shawn and his wife enjoy watching their sons’ live rock concerts and musical performances.
Education: Loyola University Chicago, B.A. English; Northern Illinois University, M.A. English; Rockford University, graduate work in Education.
