She has spent over 10 years in the financial services industry harnessing the power of storytelling to build trust with individuals and advisory firms navigating complex financial decisions. She’s spent the last 8 years at Vanguard inspired by their democratization of investments and looks forward to the next 8 at Facet because of their mission to democratize financial planning.
Njeri was born in Kenya, went to University in DC and lives outside of Philly. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring cultures through cuisine and running her home Buttercream Bakery.

What is the best piece of advice you were ever given?
You pray to catch the bus…and then you run as fast as you can. You can’t pray to catch the bus and then stroll down the street. If you run and you miss the bus, it’s not your bus. But if you don’t run (and if you don’t pray) , that could have been your bus.
What's the best meal you've ever had?
Is it cheating to say everything and anything my grandmother makes? She’s never followed a recipe in her life so with no hope of replication, I just sit back and enjoy every bite!
